How to Backup and Restore data SX1

Always backup your SX1 data. If you don’t want loss it when you reset your phone or update your firmware. There are two way to backup your data, using MMC or Siemens Data Suite.

1. Using MMC via your SX1

Backup
a. Go to Menu (can you do that? :) )
b. Go to Extra > Memory
c. Click Option > Backup Phone Memory > Yes
d. Backup process will show and let your SX1 backup data into MMC
e. Done

Restore
a. Go to Menu (can you do that? :) )
b. Go to Extra > Memory
c. Click Option > Restore from Card > Yes
d. Restore process will show and let your MMC restore data into SX1
e. Done

2. Using Siemens Data Suite via PC

Backup
a. Open Siemens Data Suite (SDS)
b. For first time using SDS go to Setting Menu > Backup
c. Choose your backup root directory. SDS will create folder call “Siemens Data Suite” in this root. The folder content your SX1 backup data.
d. Click Backup Now and wait until backup process finish.
e. Done

Restore
a. Open Siemens Data Suite (SDS)
b. Go to Setting Menu > Restore
c. On Available Backup choose file (date) that you want to restore then on Files to Restore choose whick file that you want to restore
d. Click Restore Now and wait until restore process finish.
e. Done
